Mobility Scooters Are Allowed on the Road in the UK Mobility scooters are able to be used on roads provided they adhere to the Highway Code. They cannot be used on bus lanes, motorways or on 'cycle-only' routes. They must have a flashing amber light if travelling on dual carriageways.
